Amidy
Over the winter time 2004 Arne Andersen, a good friend of mine, experiences with some indoor dual line kite designs. Arne was very R-Sky Nirvana and R-Sky Krystal addicted and always want something similarly tricky when flying indoor.
At that time Arne had some experiences in sewing and framing, so I supported him with hints what has to be changed to get one effect stronger or lesser and where to do what to get it more statically and dynamically balanced.
The first prototypes failed, but after a while the development versions got more indoor capabilities but were still an extremely trickable kite. Arne was very pleased with the last version, which require very much energy from the flier, but also opens you the whole bunch of modern and radical tricks.
We had a contact to a manufacturer, but Arne decided to build the kite on his own (and on request), because it is very very special.
Even if its an indoor kite, its quite heavy and huge and you can’t compare it to any German or US indoor kite.
The only kite which stressed me in a similar way what the Faya Dub Special Edition of the Pipit from Louis Sko , but the Faya Dub and the amidy makes me a big grin on the face ;-) ... I love the French energetic indoor style :-)
