Kiting Biography
My Kiting Biography is really dense packed with stuff I have done. With the age somewhere between 10 and 12 I had my first diamond shaped controlable kite with 2 lines.
I really liked to fly kites, but as usual in that age I lost my interest when I grow up and found other interesting hobbies (hey girls ;-).
In the mid of 2001 on of my friends invited me to his rented house at the beach on texel in the netherlands. He told me that he will fly some kites there and if I like I could come over and fly with him. I remembered my days flying my old diamond shape stunt kite and so I bought a new kite at a local kite shop and we had lots of fun.
After that days at the beach, I was fully infected by the kite flying virus. I catched up all kind of kiting material on the internet, magazines and so on.
The second kite which I bought very shortly after I found out the my first kite was nice to fly from left to right and back, but nothing more. That second kite was a real trick kite and the story began.
Indoor Kiting
I joined the indoor kiting group in Velbert (Germany)
Created and beeing the leader of the indoor kiting group in Dortmund (TSC Indoor Kiting, Germany)
Judge at the 2003 indoor competition (Masterclass 2 and 4 line kites) in Leipzig, Germany
Training and trick school for new indoor kiting pilots.
Giving kite and trick schools on indoor kiting festivals in Wuppertal, Kerpen and Leipzig.
Judge at the 2005 indoor competition in Kerpen, Germany.
Outdoor Kiting
Joined the kite team “Kite Express” (which sadly was split again)

Development and Design
Developed the indoor kite “Sweety” based on a prototype of Mr. Siebert (Drachenkiste)
Finetuning and Co-Development on the “Twilight” of Mr. Siebert (Drachenkiste)
Tester of several european prototype kites
Made own inventions of completly new kind of kites ( Mostly Quad Line Kites, but Dual Lines too)
Completly designed the new ITrix – indoor kite
